I LOVE THE OUTDOORS! But, I got fed up with fighting with antique umbrellas, which don't give any real shade protection, except for your head or upper body. And they don't give any privacy at all. They are always bulky and blow away in any slight wind gust. Plus, you have to keep moving them around every 15 minutes as the sun moves.

It's the same story with those "canopy" type portable outdoor camp chairs, too. They aren't cheap, and they aren't much better than an umbrella. Basically, they are just another useless umbrella. Except for their shape, their function is just the same as an umbrella. They are material stretched over a rectangle frame. How is that supposed to be better? Just because the canopy attachment looks different than an umbrella, it shouldn't warrant a higher price.
